Dear Happy readers!
I have been wanting to blog about this wedding for such a long time! This wedding had all the fixins’ of a fun & family wedding!
Beverly & Joe felt that it was very important to have a beautiful & intimate wedding with close family & friends in a setting that was historic & special at the same time. Her father, who was just the greatest father a bride could have, had previously donated to the park & felt that this was the perfect location to have her event. She wanted to bring in a “Texas Country Chic” theme to the wedding with beautiful flowers that had that “just picked” look & down home BBQ for many of her out of town guests.
Many of her guests were not from Texas, including the couple, so they felt that BBQ was the best representation of what Texas had to offer!
So we enlisted George Demeris, with Demeris Catering who delighted guests with home town cookin’ and with pecan pie for dessert!
The venue, was the perfect location for this event! Mixing in historical markers with Houston buildings was the great back drop of fusing the past with the present. The Texas Heritage Society park is a wonderful historical venue.
We did, however, had a wedding crasher! That’s right folks, it’s a public park and we can’t deny anyone or any animal from coming into the wedding! So, a chicken hawk decided to make an appereance right in the middle of the father of the bride speech! With his meal in tow! Check out the great shots that Dahlia Photo did of this fantastic and unexpected moment. The father of the bride took it well, shrugged his shoulders, & simply said, “I guess that my cue to end my speech!”
Her father was a sweet man, coming in a checking up on everything, making sure that if we needed anything he was there for us. He also made the cute table numbers in his workshop. Now that’s an awesome dad!
Here are a some ABSOLUTELY Fabulous shots from none other than one of my dearest photographer friends, Sharon Steinmann with Dahlia Photo. She is very journalistic & was able to capture the beauty of the entire event.

Hello readers!
Sheila & Rogelio are a wonderfully sweet couple. She a nurse and him a fireman! What a great combination!
So when I got the call to meet them I was really excited to be working with them! They loved each other so much and were always laughing! I enjoyed planning this wedding with them.
They are very big into family. Family is very very important in their lives & they wanted to respect them as well as incorporate each others cultures. It can always be a challenge incorporating the two cultures but it can also be amazing & beautiful! Fusion is the way to go!
So with that in mind they had an authentic Asian Tea ceremony in the morning that is very prevalent in Chinese & Vietnamese cultures and later in the afternoon a very lovely Catholic wedding ceremony. The danced the night away while enjoying delicious food from Kim Son & dancing hot Latin music throughout the night provided by LG Entertainers.
TechAve did was a wonderful job of draping and decorating the room leaving the Good luck symbols of the Dragon & Phoenix which is very important in many Asian cultures.
Their intro speech was in Vietnamese, Chinese, Spanish, & English! Some of their menus were also in all 4 languages too. I loved it! And in every moment in the wedding all you see is love, laughter, & double happiness!
So here are a few lovely pictures from Khloe Madison Photography. They did such a beautiful job on the wedding and the work speaks for itself! Enjoy!
Sincerely,

Hello happy readers!
I have been looking forward to blogging about this amazing wedding! This wedding was filled with so much love & laughter!
So a little about the couple, Anja was one of those sweet artistic and romantic girls. She loved sweetly & gently which reflected alot in her wedding. She also wanted to incorporate her British heritage by creating an English tea theme into her wedding.
Joe was an absolute sweetheart. He loved Anja so much it was so heart warming everytime I saw them together. He was a tough guy with a soft heart. They were the perfect pair!
I also loved her parents! Fantastically wonderful and so loving parents and her mother always smiling from ear to ear & laughing! Just loved her!
So for the wedding the perfect location for them to have it was at her parent’s most beautiful ranch in Navasota, TX. This place was just simply….. BEAUTIFUL, SERENE, PEACEFUL, QUAINT, & JUST LOVELY!
With it’s rolling hills, beautiful huge trees, & her funny & quirky animals; it was the perfect scene for this outdoor wedding reception. From Llamas to longhorns there was never a boring moment at the ranch!
She wanted to bring the outside in, so with with help of Angela with TechAve we accomplished just that. With a team of fantastic and wonderful vendors this wedding was just absolutely beautiful! Thank you goes to Jason with DJs Unlimited, Beth with Elegant Linens, Carmen with Carmen’s Floral, and Courtney with Alpha Prosperity!
Here are a some just really amazing pictures from the fabulous duo Amber & Jeremy with Life As Art Photography, renowed Dallas photographers & just plain “cool” people. I enjoyed working with them.

Hello readers!
I had the distinct pleasure of coordinating this lovely couple’s wedding. When Heather first met me, it was “Love at first sight”. We bonded, we laughed, we truly enjoyed each other’s company. She was sold!
She decided that she needed a planner for her wedding due to her busy schedule as a Doctor & the idea of planning a wedding in Galveston while living in Houston would pose a bit of a challenge for her. She wanted to find the best vendors to work with and new that she didn’t want the hassle of finding them.
Heather & Tray were such a cute couple! Constantly laughing and smiling from ear to ear! You SO see the love between these two love birds that I shed a tear at their ceremony.
They decided to have their wedding at the BEAUTIFUL Historic Hotel Galvez. The day was PERFECT! It was crystal clear skies & the perfect weather. God couldn’t have made it anymore beautiful!
They danced the night away with with fantastic music provided by Jason Garcia with Space City Entertainment.
So take a look at these “Crystal clear” images by the wonderful & amazing, Margaret Lee with Love Lee Photography. Thank you Magaret for doing such a beautiful JOB! Not to mention my amazing vendor team!

Hello happy readers!
Well, what can I tell you about the OH SO LOVELY Erin & her DASHING husband Matt? That they were fun? That they were always laughing? Always smiling, and hugging, and kissing? That they made me laugh? That they were FULL OF LIFE & fun stories? Yeah, that about sums it up about the two of them.
They are such a truly fun-loving couple and every minute with them was a blast! Her mom, Donna, was just as amazing as Erin was! Even my daughter still talks about her and wishes to see Ms. Donna again!
Erin & Matt had thought long and hard about the color scheme & theme that they were going to do for this wedding. They decided that using the colors of the peacock, PERFECTLY reflected that style, grace, and total goofiness. So with the help of some amazing vendors, they created this sweet & colorful wedding filled with a gorgeous candy buffet, peppermint martinis (YUM!) and luscious colors of linen & flowers by Bill with Floral Events.
At the end of the night instead of bubbles, sparklers…the norm, they decided to do white pom poms! It was more a of “dance off” as they danced their way to the Black Swan at the gorgeous Omni Hotel Riverway to keep the party going!
Here are some amazing and absolutely gorgeous pictures from the renowned David Jones with David Jones Photography! He was an absolute blast to work with and enjoyed every minute of this wedding! Thanks again David!

I am very excited to blog about this one! This was a beautiful wedding where love was flowing throughout the ENTIRE process and on their wedding day!! To see the love that Samantha & Alex had for each other was one of the most beautiful sites to see!
So a little history of this amazing off-beat couple. I had met Samantha at a wedding I had coordinated about a year ago. She was the crossbearer for Carolina & Steve’s wedding. We had met there and she told me that she would contact me she was going to plan her wedding. I love it when people tell me that!
We hit it off the very first time her, Alex, & I met. We spent hours talking about her dream wedding. It was like talking to two very close friends! It was kismet! We discussed different ideas and a couple of ideas where thrown into the hat:
* Miami night club theme
* Renaissance theme
* Halloween theme
* Twilight Vampire theme
* Asian Gothic theme
As you can see they had ALOT of great and interesting ideas! They wanted their wedding to be THEIR wedding. They wanted it to reflect their personalities & styles and wanted the world to see and they contracted me to create their vision.
After a hard and long process of figuring out what they wanted, they finally decided on the color scheme; red, black, & white. So they took that color theme throughout the whole process, from the draping to the flowers, everything reflected that same color scheme. As we still tried to figure out their theme…:-) Final verdict? Mr. Devil & Mrs. Angel getting married in Old Hollywood!
Now, I must discuss the cakes: WOW!! Their cakes definitely showed their personalties. Samantha wanted BLING!! Wanted the cake to shine & shimmer & Edible Designs by Jessie did NOT dissappoint! Alex wanted something different, something BOLD, something that reflected his interests. Now, mind you most brides would not be happy to ablige the groom’s idea of a groom’s cake. But not Samantha, she wanted to make him happy. She loved him eternally and unconditionally, so if he wanted a cake with dancers on it, well his wish was her command!
As the evening wore on, the couple decided to incorporate their Mexican culture by have the “Vibora” song play. This is where the bride & groom stand on a chair & the groom holds the bride’s veil while guests ran under it as fast as they could. Let’s just say that it was definitely a site to see! Fransico Perez with Elegante Entertainment had the crowd on their feet the whole night!
Everything about this wedding was different and amazing. I must say that the vendors TRULY outdid themselves at this wedding. From the DJ, draping, cake, chocolate fountain, photographer, floral, & reception facility, no one ceased to amaze the couple! I am happy to say the wedding went FABULOUSLY!
I want to thank the following for truly making this wedding the dream come true for the couple. Without them it would have NOT happened.
Thank you to the following additional vendors:
Carmen Floral Designs
Techave
Houston Party Booths
Chocolate Fountain Express
Thank you all and I want to with Samantha & Alex a wonderfully happy life filled with love & lots of little ones! XOXO!!
Sincerely
Audrey Hu-Gonzalez

I’ve been waiting for awhile to blog about this one! This wedding was just beautiful!
Mandi was one of those brides that pick me right over the phone! I love those!
At the time she was living in another city and wanted so much to do the wedding in Houston, but knew that planning it from another city would be challenging. So with a little help from me, I scoured the city to find the perfect place for her. I visited, took pictures, & reported back to her. And based on my pictures and packages that they offered, she selected the BEAUTIFUL Bell Tower! I had a blast searching for venues and I must say ALL OF THEM where so sweet & hospitable!
The vendors that she selected are among the best I recommend. I love it when brides use my vendors as I know the event will go Flawless!
Mandi & Andre were such a GORGEOUS couple! I don’t think she nor him could take a bad picture. Every picture of Mandi was breathtaking!
So as they danced the night away, Rueven, with Allure photography shot the day with absolute perfection! He always does a wonderful job at capturing the day. Thanks Rueven for these amazing pictures for the world to see! Enjoy!!

Well hello there! How have you been doing? Me, quite well thank you! Been busy with lost of wedding this month so I’ve been lacking in my bloggin’ duties. Perdon!
I had the pleasure of being a part of Dennis & Wendy’s most fun wedding! EVERYONE had a blast at this wedding! From the minister who is her Uncle from Tiawan to all the guests who flew is from almost every continent on this planet! They danced the night away with songs from the past & present! It truly was a wedding that I feel honored to have been a part of! Thanks Wendy!
So here’s a few details of the lovely bride & her wedding. They had contacted me approximately two years ago and where deciding between Boston & Houston. Boston is where the lovely couple met Houston was their home. So after much thought & meditation, they decided on Houston. Yay me! So began the process of this wonderful wedding.
They decided to follow some ideas of David Tutera for their wedding ceremony, by hanging red ribbon with a yellow carnation on a very beautiful tree. Red, yellow, or gold are very important colors in the Chinese culture. Representing good luck, health, & wealth. We could all use a little of that!
Instead of doing the traditional, Wendy decided to have a cocktail hour BEFORE the ceremony! So as the guests arrived on School buses (Wendy being a teacher) they enjoyed a cool beverage of either Mexican beer, Blue Moon beer, Mexican coke, & some other yummy delights! Her guests were her TOP priority!
After the ceremony had ended, the guests were transported to Fung’s Kitchen where several absolutely amazing dishes were served course after course! I love Chinese weddings! We love love to eat eat!!!
A photobooth, uplighting and draping completed the decor. She transformed this into her personal space!
Instead of doing the traditional wedding cake, she wanted to incorporate his & her love for Super Mario Brothers. So with that in mind Cakes by Gina made this truly amazing cake that awed all the guests & staff alike. Since Dennis likes to grill alot, Wendy decided to also have a BBQ grill to represent his ability!

Hi Everyone!
Phew! I’ve had a busy month and lot’s to blog about! I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to blog about this wedding.
So a little background on Liz & Adam, they were referred to me by former clients, Julie & Chris, and when the mother of the bride & Liz met me they already heard wonderful things about me. So I must say that the biggest compliment is to receive referrals from past clients. : -)
Liz & Adam decided to get married at the very beautiful St. Vincent’s Catholic Church followed by a reception at the Magnolia Ballroom where beats of yesteryear & hits of today were played well by our wonderful DJ Fransisco Perez of Elegante Entertainment. Flowers by Lisa with Petals by Design.
There is one person I just NEED to mention. Her grandmother! She’s the one dancing in one of the pics. She was sooo sweet and funny! I just loved her! She comes up to me and asks me, “So how do I look for an 85 year old? Pretty good don’t ya think? I still got it goin’ on!”
I can only hope that I would be that awesome at her age!
Here are some amazing photos taken by Niki with Photography by Niki. I must say she and her assistant where so much fun to work with! They were attentive and made my job fun! Thanks again Niki!
